Where to begin.. ?!
Well, I began seriously working out around beginning of June 2011. I had gotten an interest in working out my freshman year of college away at school, however, I was clueless on how exactly to go about exercising the correct way. What sparked my interest in working out my freshman year? I was going through a tough time, and I needed an outlet. Instead of turning to partying, drinking, or some other unhealthy outlet, I turned to the gym! I was spending hours upon hours doing cardio — obviously not good. I was doing 10 miles in an hour on the elliptical!!! , like whaaaat the !?! (Kind of impressive, I must have had some crazy determination going on! I would never attempt that now, as it would be a waste of time and energy.) So when I came home from school, over that summer, I stole my brother’s workout partner away from him at the gym. (My brother had a lot of wrestling stuff going on anyway :p ) My brother’s workout partner, Eddie, helped show me the ropes of the gym. I lifted with him everyday (besdies rest day!) and learned a ton of good information. And I saw a SERIOUS transformation in my body!
I was so proud of myself! And I still am. However, I took the clean eating diet too far! I only had 10% body fat! Which is not good for a girl to live on. So, recently I’ve been trying to gain some weight back, but in a healthy way of course.
I’ve learned quite a lot over the past year, and I am quite knowledgeable on lifting and working out and eating right. I’ve read articles on articles on articles on multiple websites to better educated myself to workout the right way. I’ve used simplyshredded.com , bodybuilding.com, cutandjacked.com, muscleandstrength.com, and muscleandbrawn.com. . .. all very good websites for free information! cant beat free 😉
